From October 14–16 2026, the 5th edition of the GMP for ATMP Summer School will take place at the Science Park University of Antwerp. Once again, 40 students from the Antwerp university colleges will have the opportunity to participate in this unique training programme, combining both theory and hands-on practice. With this initiative, at.las continues to respond to the growing demand for specialised talent within the rapidly evolving field of advanced therapies.
The Summer School prepares the next generation of professionals for GMP environments by immersing them in the world of Good Manufacturing Practice and the regulatory framework surrounding Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs). Participants gain a deeper understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, environmental monitoring and the critical importance of aseptic working practices. The programme includes theory, exercises, demonstrations and a full practical day in ViTalent’s unique cleanroom facilities.
After completing the programme, students have a clear understanding of what it means to work in a GMP-regulated environment and can better assess whether a career in advanced therapies is the right fit for them.
